ENGLISH PEA CASSEROLE

 

(This recipe was shared with me by a good friend)

 

20 oz. frozen peas                   1 can mushroom soup (little milk)

1 c. celery                               1 c. onions

Small jar of pimento (drained)

1 c. water chestnuts (drained)

½ c. butter mixed with bread crumbs

 

                        Cook peas, celery and onion as directed.  Brown crumbs

                        (these should be added last).  Add the rest of the ingredients

                        to the peas.  Place in 9 x 13 pan.  Sprinkle with bread

                        crumbs. Cook 30 min. at 350 degrees.
