NIGHT & DAY COOKIES

1 c. butter, softened

1 c. brown sugar, packed

1 c. sugar

2 t. vanilla extract

2/3 c. baking cocoa

2 eggs

1 t. baking soda

2 c. all-purpose flour

2 c. white chocolate chips

2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

 

Beat butter, sugars and vanilla until fluffy; blend in cocoa, eggs and baking soda.  Add flour; mix well.  Fold in chips; shape dough into 1½ inch balls.  Place 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets; bake at 325 degrees for 14 to 16 minutes.  Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool.  Makes 3½ dozen.
